Et resurrexit – a programme for Easter featuring Bach’s seldom-performed masterpiece: Easter Oratorio BWV 249 with soloists Jayne Tankersley, Dean Sky-Lucas, David Hamilton and Chalium Poppy with AK Barok (leader Graham McPhail). Terence Maskell conducts The Graduate Choir NZ and The Graduate Chamber Choir in a wonderful opportunity to hear this marvellous work with original instruments in a performance as closely “authentic” as possible. The programme also includes Bach’s celebrated motet Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied BWV 225 and Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb.
