Audition for The Graduate Choir NZ

New singers are very welcome to audition at any time.  Vacancies currently exist in all parts: soprano, alto (female), countertenor (male alto), tenor, baritone and bass.
  • The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings, usually 7:00 - 9.30pm, in the Aorere College Hall, Papatoetoe, Auckland.

  • There are three main criteria that must be met for admission to the choir:

    • an intelligent and committed attitude
    • an ability to sing well in tune
    • an ability for your voice to make a contribution to the sound of the choir and to blend with other voices

    Further details of the audition process (eg sight-reading) are available upon request.

  • Prospective singers are most welcome to attend a rehearsal before auditioning; application must be made first to the Director of Music.

  • As with any other high-profile music performance group, a high level of commitment is expected from admitted singers.
